Andrew Ghaly is an Educational Manager, Assessment Specialist, and Teacher Trainer with over a decade of experience in English language education and testing. He is passionate about helping teachers, test developers, and learners understand how effective assessment can transform learning outcomes.
Andrew currently serves as the Executive Director of the English Language Centre at Pharos University in Alexandria, where he leads programs in language teaching, testing, and teacher development. He is also an Item Writer and Test Developer with Trinity College London and a Speaking Examiner with Cambridge Assessment English.
Holding a Master’s degree in Education with a specialization in Language Assessment from Alexandria University, Andrew’s research explores how computer-based testing impacts learners’ performance and test anxiety. He has presented his work at international conferences such as those organized by the American University in Beirut and the American University in Cairo.
