When I first became a yoga teacher in 2007, little did I know the words "don't squish the baby" from my initial 200 hour yoga teacher training would begin the journey to exploring my true passion. Helping women feel more comfortable, confident and present in their bodies' abilities to give birth and easing the transition into motherhood fills my days with oxytocin contact highs and spit up on my yoga clothes... and I couldn't be happier. I have fallen deeply in love with the amazingness of our bodies and focused my efforts on supporting mommas in the prenatal, birth and postpartum periods. Fast forward 10 years and I’m overflowing with gratitude to the thousands of mommas & partners I have supported through yoga, childbirth education and doula services. You inspire me everyday.
My classes focus on mindful
movements to ease common discomforts of pregnancy, breathing practice,
meditation and practical techniques to encourage optimal fetal
positioning. A smoother and more comfortable labor, birth and postpartum
encourages badass mommas to let loose chill babies.
I am happy to call Williamsburg, Brooklyn home, where I live with my husband
and two young sons. I am an E-RYT 500, RPYT, Urban Zen Integrative
Therapist, Certified Doula, Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educator and student of Zen Buddhism. Deep bows to all of my teachers,
past, present and future.
