What you will learn
Section 1: Organizing Your Pictures
Building Albums is the best way to begin to organize your pictures. It will help you to locate them quickly when you are looking for that one certain photo.
When we talk about organizing with tags we are digging deeper into organizing. This allows us to dig into each picture for someone or maybe even someplace.
Contact sheets allow us to build a sheet maybe for a client. I often use contact sheets as proofs.
Section 2: Intro to Elements 11 Editor
Looking At Elements 11 Editor
Section 3: Quick Fix Editor
The name says it all quick fix allows to quickly correct some basic issues with our pictures.
Section 4: Guided Editing
Guided Editing is a way that Elements walks you through the edits in a step by step fashion.
This is a nice simple way to have some color corrections with our digging to deep into the full editor.
Line drawings are not used much but when you want this edit you can do it quickly with this guided edit.
Did you ever see an old fashion photo and think I would like to be able to do that today. Now you can even using your new digital camera. Remember it's all in the editing.
We all want to take great pictures of people now with this portrait retouching built into Elements we never will have an excuse again as to why not to retouch portraits.
Guided Edit Pop Art
I really love using this edit on either a table or water. A reflection gives your pictures a nice glow.
There are always ways to capture exposure but what if we get it wrong? Then we have an editor to help correct it.
As with any exposure we have to worry about getting it right with light. This tools helps us to correct our mistakes.
You will love the way your pictures look after applying the LOMO effect.
I really love to create this edit and have your subject jumping off the paper to your viewers.
Did you ever take a picture then another just to find out that in the good one no one was looking? Now you can merge two pictures together and make on really good one.
Sometime we just need to merge a group of people and this little tool comes in handy.
It is nice to see your pictures as old film.
Style match will let you match the style of how one picture was shot and bring that style into another picture.
Section 5: Full Editing Tools
Full Editing is when everything else just does not feel right. It is time to move over to the full editor.
I like laying pictures out this is also nice for scrap booking.
Section 6: Final Thoughts
In Conclusion
