You Must Decide and write down what these 3 things are at this moment in your life. You are not held to this for the rest of your life:
Your “WHY” is what will create the PULLING effect to achieving your Goals
What is your “ Achilles Heel” Identify your Weakness
Associate detailed, worst case PAIN to the consequence of given into your Weakness!
–Associate enough pain with not having “IT” that your Achilles heel and triggers hold no power over you.
–Every time you overcome your Achilles heel and triggers, you strengthen that emotional muscle
Understanding why and what you should Plan for:
–What will it take for you to succeed?
–Plan your day, work your plan
–Plan to persevere
Take 2 minutes to do SOMETHING! Take action RIGHT NOW! Focus on just taking the first step. (Seriously, pause and go do something!) NO EXCUSES!
Text or email that one person you know you should (business, relationship, personal trainer, etc.)
–Short term (1,3,6 month goals)•Even hourly! Break it up into“goal periods” •Focus on the action, regardless of the results
–Think Big Goal List •Not just what you’re CAPABLE of achieving...stretch yourself! Realistic, but also pushing
yourself!–Long Term (1, 3,5 year goals)
–Understand that you have made mistakes, and you will make mistakes, we all make mistakes, but you are not your mistakes. Forgive yourself of the past, and give yourself permission to make more mistakes in the future.
–You cannot control the finish line, but you can and you have controlled the starting line.
My life has taken me down many roads; from selling books door to door, to developing and leading sales teams in the healthcare industry and through business consulting, to volunteering with high school kids as a YoungLife Leader, and watching close friends of mine rise to fame in country music.
And while they say that experience is the best teacher, I believe that someone else’s experience can be an even better teacher.
That’s why my mission is to share my personal experience, as well as the stories of close friends that I’ve heard along the way, in order to teach, encourage, inspire and entertain others. Why is this so important to me? Because success without fulfillment is life’s greatest failure, and I feel most alive when I am sharing with and enriching the lives of others.
