Description

When I first started my own business, the consistent and frequent message that I received from mentors was that my social media efforts needed to be consistent and frequent.

But I also had a coaching business to run.I didn’t want to spend the majority of my time on facebook, LinkedIn, Google, twitter, yahoo, etc.

At the same time, I realized that social media (if used correctly) is an effective, inexpensive marketing tool. And without marketing there is no sales. And Sales Does Drive the Business Bus.

Since then, I created a systematic approach to get a consistent message out on social media, frequently, efficiently and in line with my marketing brand.

I call it SNAP- Social Networking Accelerated Process. And I have done several speaking and training engagements on “It’s a SNAP” to several nonprofit organizations as well as other coaches and entrepreneurs.

Introduction
2 Lectures 02:20

I had an new entrepreneur confess to me that she didn’t feel that she was growing her business fast enough….that

she wasn’t attracting clients fast enough, or making money fast enough. So – I asked to see her goals and metrics on her business, customer, income and lead to sales conversion targets. She could not tell me any of them.

Acknowledgement 1 - if you don’t know what your goals or timeframes for those goals – you can not effectively determine if you are not progressing fast enough or not.If you don’t know if you are not progressing fast enough, then you don’t know if you need to change your strategy.

It is for this reason that I like to start of with Goal Setting.

Download this initial questionaire, from the supplementary material section, to get started with your goal setting exercise.

It is for this reason that I like to start of with Goal Setting.

Take some time to consider:

•What are some of your social media goals?

•What is your client conversion rate?

•What is your vision for your business?

•How do you plan to do more in less time?

If you could wave your magic wand, what would you change?

You will attract the widest range of potential clients with your free offerings – but you can neither pay your bills nor sustain a successful business this way.But it does provide a method to allow a large range of potential clients into your doors (so to speak).

Once they get to know you and your products, you can introduce them to low, medium and higher priced items. Not all offerings or prices will attract everyone that enters your product funnel, but you will have something at every level to keep them engaged. This gives you continuous opportunities to up-sale them toward the next pricing level.

Once you have a systematic approach or repeatable process, you can think about automating, scheduling, and optimizing your steps.Incorporating effective tools will not only reduce your time and effort – but provides the consistency in your marketing strategy.

What if I can’t think of 52 topics to write about?

Remember – this approach is meant to help automate, optimize and streamline what you are already doing.

52 weeks is an arbitrary number. The idea is to preplan a head of time – what your topics are going to be about.

You are already an expert in your field. You already have lots of topics and information in your head.

This method is just encouraging you to block time plan – ahead of time – what those topics are going to be.

Earlier we talked about creating a product funnel for your business or trade. But what do you put into your product funnel. There are a multitude of things that you can offer. You are only limited by your imagination.

Here is a quick flow chart that may help explain this better. The main input into your product and service funnel is your client contact database. All your sales strategies will be accessing your client database. Therefore, the first step is to continually fill that database with client names and contact information.Social media can certainly help with this process.

An effective social media campaign is one that continually focuses on gathering potential client data and contacts. We do this by offering valuable instructions, articles, videos, e-books, discounts, coupons, seminars, templates, etc.

Every effort needs to lead toward an opt-in to something else. This goes for your social media efforts as well.

If you are advertizing a tip, make sure that tip leads to a full-article on the topic (which people need to subscribe to or register for). The article or seminar can still be free – because the goal of this offer is to get their contact information.

Personal note from Laura:

Thank you for spending this time to learn more about me and my clients.

My clients and potential clients are, like you, all doing well. But sometimes we want more from life.We feel that these challenging economic times prohibit us from creating the life we were meant to live.

When we integrate all that we are into what we do, we are free from doubt. We are at our best because we are working through inspiration. But it's difficult to follow one's passion, if we don't know what inspires us. Or we can't find the time.

I use my corporate project management, people management and client advocacy background to help my clients identify and tap into what excites and delights them. I help my clients identify, focus and hold onto their dreams. My clients find that by incorporating their passions into their every day, their lives become fuller, more joyous and prosperous. My clients and I use this collaborative relationship, to help define creative and practical approaches to continually and eagerly move forward.

My business is growing quickly through referrals. Please keep me in mind when talking with friends and associates.Once your friends experience this for themselves they will understand the value of coaching. With this in mind, I would like to offer you and your friends the gift of two free sample sessions.

Warmly,
Laura Rose , CTACC
