I work as a professional speaker because I have a love for the stage. It is a place of influence, connection, and power for business men and women.
But, just because I’m comfortable speaking in public, it doesn’t mean I didn’t have to work at it, or that I never feared it. Over time, and with work, I learned tricks and strategies to overcome stage fright and nervousness. And I learned how to connect effectively with any audience.

In this lecture, How to Unmask Your Fears, you will learn how to begin to turn things around and get back what belongs to you -- Confidence. The exercise will help you think further about why you have the fear.
It’s important to know that you are not alone when it comes to public speaking anxiety. Fear is a real factor that affects many areas of a person’s life. So, it’s important to face the fear and deal with it on all fronts.
Upon completing this lecture and the worksheets, you will know why you have any anxiety about speaking in front of a group of people, and you will also have a solution to use moving forward.

In this lecture, The Power of Decision Eases Fear, you will learn when and why I decided to overcome my fear of public speaking. And you will learn 5 Easy Strategies to Beat Your Fears.
Upon completing this final lesson in this section, you will have clarity about any fear you have of public speaking and how decision makes a positive difference. And you’ll be better prepared to move forward as you gain greater confidence in the next section.

Congratulations! You’ve completed Section 2, Disarm Stage Fright, the 1st Step to Becoming a Confident & Engaging Speaker. Fear will no longer be a limiting factor because you have identified the problem(s), and can replace the problem with solutions that work. Remember, there is always a solution.
Put the power of decision and faith to work, and keep fear in its rightful place. Fear isn’t a signal to stop you. You can now see it as a warning sign to get you prepared to overcome obstacles that may try to block your way.
Now that you know how to disarm fear, you are free to take the next step toward becoming a more confident speaker. But first, read the conclusion article, and then move to Section 3: Step 2 – Gain Confidence.

In this lesson, Faith Over Fear, I will share my story about a fear phobia that I face, my decision for how to manage it, and how I unmasked the fear to help overcome it. The strategies you learned in the previous lesson are some of the same strategies I used for this particular phobia.
