In this Anahata meditation you will be able to get in touch with the manifestation of self that is a function of the heart chakra. Through deep and relaxed breathing, the air element can help relieve tensions at the heart level. The human heart has vast powers of renewal and healing.
Rest your attention in the centre of your chest beneath the sternum during this meditation and when your mind wanders, gently bring it back to this area. This is not concentration, but rather a light focus of attention in the heart chakra.
The Heart chakra’s element is air – thus if you can I encourage you to sit outside and feel the breeze upon your skin, allowing your heart to feel it can be very beneficial. Because the colour green is around us in the trees and in the grass, going out walking, or laying in the grass and allowing our heart to feel it, can begin to bring it into balance.

Just added a new resource June 2016 that you may find handy on creating sacred space and sacred time within your busy lives.
I've come to the conclusion that it's okay to be a work in progress; it's okay to rely on those that have gone before me; and it's okay to ask for help when I need it. It's also more than okay to listen to the wisdom of remarkable women who have achieved greatness solely through the relentless pursuit of their dreams. Here are a few of my favorites - these women truly speak to me and I hope they speak to you too.
Instructor: Deborah Wojcicki

This is a new mini lecture from the top-rated course, Life Hack With Color Psychology by Professor Kristen Palana from The American University of Rome. Learn to influence how you are perceived at home and at work in a variety of situations just based on what colors you are wearing. Download the wardrobe cheat-sheet under "resources" for a quick guide you can use daily.
Color psychology is a fascinating subject because people start looking at the world around them in a different way once they know more about it. And to think, those colors have been under your nose all your life!
Instructor: Kristen Palana
Learn how your brain is wired in the default state - and what you can do to manage it for greater happiness.
So the take away here is – release the self blame – its not your fault. Our brain was built for us & the basic emotional systems are a very old design. We were wired to be anxious, hypervigilent, self protective and careful. We were wired to roar when someone or something crosses us
BUT here's the thing. It doesn't work to leave it there. Your ability to feel and share good feelings of interest, joy, love and peace is compromised by letting your brain decide for you what to focus on. We were always taught that our brain was fixed - unlike skin that grows new cells and heals when it is injured, we were told the brain was fixed after childhood - now we know that absolutely is not true.
If you want less stress, anxiety, worry, over-thinking and anger AND greater peace, happiness, life satisfaction, and all the other goodies that lead to those things, then you need to activate that self soothing system in your brain and REWIRE it for happiness - See my audio practice Soothing Self Kindness included in this program (a sample from my other courses), to give you one small taste of how this is possible.
Instructor: Kellie Edwards
This guided mindfulness practice is profoundly soothing and will activate the care giving system in your brain. Please download this onto your favourite listening device so that you can have portable brain based stress-relief wherever you go. This enables you to bring on the relaxation response and get back into the drivers seat of your brain - as described in my lecture on Rewiring Your Brain for Happiness. Research has shown over and over again that happy people are more successful in many areas of work, relationship, family and personal lives. It's work investing in! May you be Happy.....
Instructor: Kellie Edwards
Students have an opportunity to assess their satisfaction in ten areas of their life: health, finance, work/business, house, relationship, family, friends, self, life balance and future focus and then highlight three areas they want to change.
Instructor: Denise Fletcher
This video explains the emotional response to change curve and why we find change difficult and emotional. By the end of the lecture students will understand the natural stages people go through when a change happens including shock, anger, denial, resistance, depression,acceptance and moving-on. This is really helpful to understand if you or others are part of change going on at work or you are experiencing personal change.
Instructor: Denise Fletcher
Sometimes your best ideas come during our sleeping or meditation time. However many of us suffer from sleep deprivation. Take so time out to ensure you have some space for dreaming, be that in a forest, walking in a park, or sitting in a sunny corner of your home.
Take note of the ideas, no matter how crazy it may seems at the time that come up for. Start to write them down in diary, or even in the notes section of your phone. Use these ideas to stimulate and launch your dream.

Traditional marketing interrupts people and pushes a product at them. Content marketing, on the other hand, is all about creating valuable content that attracts customers to your business. That's why its called "pull marketing" or "attraction marketing". To create valuable content, you need to know the building blocks of content marketing: the KLT factor. Once you've mastered the KLT factor, you'll be able to use content to drive sales without appearing sleazy or in your face. It's a great way to market your business and brand your expertise at the same time!

Once upon a time there was a little girl in Germany who had this idea of moving to England as soon as she was grown up and to make all English people like the German language. Then she wanted to be an air hostess, a ballet dancer, a famous singer ……
Fast forward to the present and this little girl hasn’t quite achieved what she wanted, but …

Offering spirit based courses to encourage kindfulness and peace within each and everyone of us. Every student is personally welcomed by me. In addition I perform a small sacred offering of drumming, rattling or chanting for every person to bring us into the sacred space of the courses. These course offerings have active discussion boards/forums. Please share your stories in our sacred space as they move to enrich us all. Let us plant the seeds of inspiration and love together.
I believe in “personal spirituality” and the ability we each have to create a path for ourselves that is of our own making. There are often criticisms against people who create a personal spiritual path for themselves, taking a little Buddhist meditation and adding in a bit of drumming, and then a healthy dose of yoga and some trance dancing for good measure. Interestingly, this is simply judgmental language to label this “cafeteria spirituality”. Whilst I do not advocate that people go from course to course, book to book, finding elements of the sacred within certain practices and adopting them is fine by me!
It is very empowering knowing what we know in our hearts and claiming it, regardless of whether or not it is popular or approved of by others. Within my courses I try my best to provide the resources that support “the spiritual journey” because it is that Mystery that I serve. I am not inspired to serve something made by humans, controlled by humans, and manipulated by us so we can fulfil.
Weaving magic, spirituality and crafting with nature is the way of my ancestors. It is a gift we all have deep within the core of our beings. However it has been beaten and educated out of us. It is time to reclaim who we really are. What are you waiting for? Over 10,000 people have enrolled in my classes.
I stand here with you all as a woman who embodies the elemental innocence of my youth, the transformational growth of middle age, the welcoming dignity, compassion, and acceptance of my crone years, I embrace the growth and wisdom of my future years as they unfold.
Abundant blessings on your path.
I believe in the gift of giving back; a percentage of my income is donated to a range of charities. This month being December 2016 money has been donated to the global conservation group "Tree Sisters - The Million Trees Campaign" - this is a not-for-profit organisation working to assist and rehabilitate forests, their initial aim has been reached - to fund the planting of one million trees in a year. Once we have achieved this, we will then aim for One Million Trees per month, then per week, and then per day - which we will achieve when 700,000 of us are standing for the trees. Are you with us?

I'm Mary Cummings, a business mentor, online educator, freelance journalist and published author.
I help creative freelancers find their work sweet spot, with projects that truly excite and challenge them, for clients they enjoy with.
I also help business owners write and publish their business book, with my personalised ghostwriting service.
When I made my decision to set up my own Freelance business over 10 years ago, I had no plan, no safety nets, no guarantees.
I made mistakes. Big ones.
There were all those marketing myths I found myself buying into. You've probably heard some of them yourself:
- to compete in today's marketplace, you need to work your butt off;
- sacrifice everything in order to succeed, otherwise, you're not a serious entrepreneur;
- plug yourself into every conceivable social media channel out there;
- you need a big list before you can sell anything;
- you need to DO more;
- you need to BE more;
- more, more, more....
All so exhausting and demoralizing.
Not only are they myths, they're big, fat lies and not in the least bit helpful for anyone trying to build a business AND have a life at the same time.
So I'm really looking forward to helping you dispel those myths and more importantly, earn higher fees without working your socks off.
Here's to your best year ever.
