By the end of this Course, when you surf the web for your favorite songs, you will be able to read Tabs, understand Chords, Basic strums, Basic techniques, signs, symbols, Sharps, Flats, etc.
The Objective is to provide you with the ability to perform and understand all basic concepts so you can play MANY MANY songs contrary to videos that show you how to play only ONE song.

Guitar Tuning Tutorial Part 118:07
In order to practice with the music tracks I recorded for you, so we can play together as a way of testing your progress, your guitar MUST be properly tuned and this requires a bit of skills.

You have 3 options to choose from:

1- Watch all 4 Tuning Tutorial Videos. It takes a while (53 minutes total) but I explained in great detail, all you need to know about tuning.

2- Take your guitar to someone who can do it for you. There is always a neighbor, friend, family member or a guy at the nearest music store who knows how to play guitar and can tune your guitar in one minute.

3- If your guitar only needs a little adjusment, watch the Quick Start Guide. Video #3, out of the four video series has basic instructions on how to tune your guitar, if it has a built in tuner or if you have a tuner with you. But please also check video #1 for safety precautions.

If you have an Acoustic guitar you can watch only the first 4 minutes. If you have an Electric guitar you should watch the rest of the video.
Guitar Tuning Tutorial Part III ( Quick Start Guide)6:56
This video is a Quick Start Guide in case you are familiar with the pitch of each note and your guitar needs only a little adjusment. You will need aTuner or use a built in Tuner (some modern electro-acoustic guitars have built in tuners).

But I still recommend to watch ALL 4 Tuning Tutorials.

You can tell how 'little or bad' a string is ajusted by checking against the meter (pointer or light in the Tuner). For example, the 6th string should be tuned on E. If you play that string ONCE and let it ring close to the Tuner, the pointer will tell you how far or close from the mark it is. If the pointer goes 'crazy' moving all around, you need some serious Tuning and better watch all 4 video Tutorials.

Guitar Tuning Tutorial Part IV15:01
In my humble opinion, this is the most important part of the 4 video Tutorials because we learn about the simplicity of our musical system and at the same time understand why each string needs a specific wave frequency adjustment. This video will take 15 minutes out of your valuable time, but believe me, it's worth seeing, if you are a music enthusiast.

In the video I recommended some software, but now there are new applications for tuning. Check this Guitar Tuner App Also listed on the Supplementary Material.

Here I introduce myself as a Guitar Teacher for 2 minutes and then, Lesson 1 starts with the most important elements you need to know when you play for the first time. How to get a clear sound, common mistakes, left hand and right hand techniques. After I show you what to do, we play together at the end so you can test yourself, before moving forward into the next Lesson.

A couple of good advices. Waking up your fingers with two simple exercises. First Scale. Then we learn two basic chords, how to make faster changes and practice along with drums at the end.
Scale and 3 Finger Chords19:27
Divided in 2 sections: We add a few more notes to our Scale to create a melody so we can play together at the same time. On Section 2 we learn the Classical position, 3 finger chords and how to improve our speed to play these chords. You get a little homework to be ready for next lesson.
4 Chords with Strumming12:31
Now that we know 4 chords, we learn a basic rhythm (strum) to play along with the drums and then a second more dynamic strum. If you did your homework from lesson 3 you´ll be ok.
How to read Tablature22:29
Why it is so important to learn this. Then we talk about the basics of the system, playing one note at time, then few notes together.

At the end we learn a new Chord. C which is a bit uncomfortable for your fingers on your first try because you need to strech out your fingers.
New Chords, Strumming and Arpeggios21:15
We learn 3 new chords. A9 (a simplified version), F#m11 and E because we are going to play along a new strum with a music track.

We focus on the right hand for rehearsal and then we have to catch up with the drummer or we´ll be kicked out of the Band.

Now we play the same chord sequence but this time with arpeggios instead of strumming.
