Save the Life of a Loved One with these Basic First Aid Skills
When the Sh** Hits the Fan, You Can Keep Your Cool if You Know What to Do
In the age of the internet, there are plenty of online first aid courses for you to choose from. These will teach you all the same things, but you won’t get to practice those skills to get them right.
Here, you will learn to reach the same goal – saving a life – in a way that you won’t need to practice in class to get it right.
Calling for an ambulance is always step one, but what then? When every second counts, you can make the difference between your loved one making it in (relatively) good shape onto the ambulance, or deteriorating catastrophically before help has even arrived.
If you want to learn what to do when things go wrong, check out this course.
Content and Overview
We designed this first aid course so that you can learn crucial skills like CPR without practicing them in class. You don’t need any prior knowledge to take this course.
We cover the most common life threatening emergencies, from the generic “there’s someone lying on the ground, is he unconscious?” to “that car hit a woman in the crosswalk, I think she’s still breathing!”
You will learn not only what to do in different types of emergencies, but also how to help different types of people. For example, you can’t do CPR on babies the same way you do on adults, the Heimlich manoeuvre is different for pregnant women, and not everyone can be saved from a heart attack using aspirin.
We’ve also included some bonus content:
Finally, we’ve boiled everything down to the exact steps you need to remember for each emergency situation, and put them all in the downloadable Study Manual for you to keep and refer back to whenever you want or need to. Now you’re ready to roll.
How to help an accident victim without risking your own safety or making the victim's condition worse.
Different ways to stop your patient from bleeding to death.
How to prevent burns and fires, how to treat burns, and how to stay safe during a fire.
A quick recap of what we covered in this course.
This is the final quiz. Good luck!
