Roi Shternin
I have started a revolution from my bed.
About me
Roi Shternin is a TEDx speaker, patient advocate, entrepreneur, and public speaking expert with over 15 years of experience. After overcoming his own health challenges, including being bedridden for a decade due to a rare medical condition, he has dedicated his life to empowering individuals and communities and revolutionizing the healthcare industry.
Shternin is the founder of several organizations, including The Patient School, which supports and educates individuals with chronic illnesses. He has served as the first-ever Patient in Residence & Head of Patient Innovation for the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute in Austria and other leading medical centers, bringing a patient perspective to healthcare decision-making.
In addition to his work in healthcare, Shternin is an experienced keynote speaker who has shared his story at numerous conferences and events. He has also coached and trained dozens of TEDx speakers and organized several TEDx events.
As a public speaking expert, Shternin has developed a simple and effective system for structuring presentations, which he calls "The ABC's of Public Speaking." He has used this system to teach thousands of students how to speak like a TEDx speaker, prepare proper presentations for work, school, or business pitches, and streamline their stories to create effective TED-like talks.
Shternin's mission is to empower individuals to take control of their own health and lives, and he believes that effective public speaking is a crucial tool in achieving this goal.
