Most of our time we spend on devices, whether in the office or on the couch. A sedentary lifestyle affected significantly the way we carry ourselves - rounded shoulders that compress the chest, not allowing us to breathe fully and misaligned spine. This course is designed for everyone with a sedentary lifestyle or feeling stiff and needs to stretch their body and calm down mind.
What does this course contain?
1) 15 videos 2) 1 PDF Guidebook
The course consists of: A Course Guidebook , 14 videos (each lasting 15-20mins) so that you can experience gradual transformation in 2 weeks plus bonus if you would like to challenge yourself with 33 minutes of Intense Yoga flow. The sessions start from breathing exercises. Most of the time we simply forget to breathe properly. Then we move to the body work that includes joint rotation, muscle tension release, flexibility & strength, balance and mind relaxation.
Breathing.
These 3 breathing techniques will help you to bring balance, cleanse pathways and relief stress. In addition, they help focus on the breathing process, which is usually ignored.
Joints rotation.
The preparatory practice moves all the major joints and “wakes up” the muscles of the body.
There are major joints (and body parts) that we will focus on in this chapter:
Ankle
Knee
Hip
Shoulder
Neck
Wrist
Flexibility & Strength.
In this chapter we will emphasize on stretching passively and actively through full range of motion. Starting from passive stretches that will allow gravity to release tension from your body, followed by active positions where one muscle group has to contract in order to relax opposite muscles. And just like every exercise requires warm-up every yoga class doesn`t pass without Sun Salutation (Surya Namaskar) that will be covered as well with modifications to accommodate every practitioner.
Mind relaxation- Meditation.
Meditation is a state of deep peace that occurs when the mind is calm and silent.
It`s an honor for me to introduce you to Yoga. Let’s get to know the body and mind that we live in!
