The Mystical Essence of Chakras: Unveiling the Energy Centers
So what exactly are “The Chakras?”
These mystical energy centers carry intricate symbolism and wield tremendous power.
The Sanskrit word Chakra translates into “a spinning wheel of energy” and is located along the central channel of the subtle body, known as the Sushumna. Originating from ancient Indian spiritual traditions, these energy centers are correspond to different aspects of our physical, emotional, and spiritual being.
There are seven main chakras, each associated with specific qualities, elements, colors, and sounds. The chakras serve as portals to higher consciousness and self-realization, offering a pathway to balance, healing, and spiritual evolution. By understanding and harmonizing these energy centers, we unlock the door to our fullest potential and embrace the artistry of our true selves.
We’ll explore them individually and delve deeper into practices and techniques for activating and balancing each of these transformative energy centers. For now let’s have a general overview.
1. Root Chakra (Muladhara):
Located at the base of the spine, the root chakra governs our sense of security, stability, and survival instincts.
Its element is Earth, and its color is red. Balancing this chakra fosters feelings of groundedness and safety.
2. Sacral Chakra (Svadhishthana):
Positioned in the lower abdomen, the sacral chakra is linked to creativity, sensuality, and emotional expression.
Its element is Water, and its color is orange. Nurturing this chakra enhances our ability to experience pleasure and embrace our emotions.
3. Solar Plexus Chakra (Manipura):
Situated in the upper abdomen, the solar plexus chakra governs personal power, confidence, and self-esteem.
Its element is Fire, and its color is yellow. Strengthening this chakra empowers us to assert ourselves and pursue our goals with clarity.
4. Heart Chakra (Anahata):
Located at the center of the chest, the heart chakra is the seat of love, compassion, joy, empathy, and forgiveness.
Its element is Air, and its color is green. Opening this chakra fosters deep connections with others and promotes inner harmony.
5. Throat Chakra (Vishuddha):
Positioned at the throat, the throat chakra governs communication, self-expression, and authenticity.
Its element is Ether, and its color is indigo blue. Clearing this chakra enables us to speak our truth with confidence and integrity.
6. Third Eye Chakra (Ajna):
Situated between the eyebrows, the third eye chakra is associated with intuition, insight, and inner wisdom.
Its element is Light, and its color is amethyst. Activating this chakra enhances our psychic abilities and deepens our connection to higher consciousness.

THE CAVE OF BRAHMA
The highest Chakra symbolizes our capacity to be completely connected spiritually.
Sahasrara chakra is akin to the lotus unfolding above Brahma-randhra, known as "The
sanctuary of Brahma". It is an aperture in the crown of the head from which it is believed
that the soul ascends at the time of transcendence.
When the Yogi separates from the physical body during transcendence, this Brahma-
randhra opens up, and the soul emerges through this opening (Kapala Moksha). This
opening is also referred to as the 'Gateway to Pure Consciousness' or the gateway of
liberation.
Once the Kundalini Shakti, also known as the "Lotus Power," has ascended through
Sushumna to Sahasrara, it is directed to reverse its course and return to rest in the
base center once again. Immortality is attained within Sahasrara Chakra. Prior to
reaching this chakra, the yogi is unable to attain the state of unconscious conscious
known as asama-prajnata-samadhi. In this state, there is no activity of the mind and no
knower, no knowledge, and nothing to be known: knowledge, knower, and known all
merge and become liberated.
Samadhi is the pure bliss of complete inactivity.
Until the sixth chakra, the yogi may enter a trance in which activity or form still remains
within consciousness.
In Sahasrara Chakra, the prana ascends and reaches its highest point. The mind
establishes itself in the pure emptiness of Shunya Mandala, the space between the
hemispheres.
During this time, all feelings, emotions, and desires, which are the workings of the mind,
dissolve into their fundamental cause. Union is achieved. The yogi/yogini is in sat-chit-
ananda, truth-being-bliss.
The true self is present and can remain within the physical body, experiencing non-dual
consciousness, without being disturbed by pleasure and pain, honors and humiliations,
or being drawn into the sensory realm.

What are my actual beliefs of life, religion, science, universal energy, God?
Where do my beliefs stem from?
Who in my life shares my beliefs?
Do these beliefs affect the way I live my life?
Do I find contentment in these beliefs? How so?
Are these beliefs mine? Have they helped make me into the person I am today and will become tomorrow?
Do my current beliefs shape the way I see others? Their words? Their actions?
Are these views helpful or harmful?
