In this essential lesson, you will learn about the verb, to be. This is a tricky verb in Spanish, as ser is a permanent sense of being. You use ser when you talk about your hair color - as that is a pretty permanent thing. You use estar for nonpermanent being. You would use it to talk about how you feel, as that is always changing.
