Families, in this course your student will learn to write a simplified, modern style of cursive! This course teaches enrollees how to form all lowercase and uppercase letters of the English alphabet.
Use any lined paper and writing utensil of your choice. Learn to write letters in cursive by repeated practice of a few different strokes. Letters taught together have similar strokes. The 16-video lectures orally instruct and demonstrate how to form each stroke, letter, and practice word. Opportunities to practice abound throughout the video and should last until your student can write each stroke, letter, and word correctly and comfortably.
This course features ten sections that include one or two lessons each. Each section features similar strokes that are used to form several letters. There are a total of eleven strokes taught in this course that will form fifty-two letters of the English Alphabet. After completion of the first nine sections, you will be able to form all lowercase and uppercase letters of the English alphabet in cursive. Section ten concludes the course with two additional lessons that provide practical application of cursive writing. In this final section, you will copy a poem as well as develop your unique signature.
A certificate of completion is available for download once the course has finished.
