Welcome to Self-Empowerment for Stress Reduction! In this course you will learn how to manage stress levels in your daily life by understanding what motivates you. You will also learn about values. These values will teach you what is important in your life and what you can do without. There are multiple resources in this course that you can use in your daily life. Are two classes that you can participate in to promote calm and ease of mind. These are yoga and qigong. They are seated classes but very powerful. Remember, these Qigong and yoga classes are at the beginner level, but still require effort. Invest in yourself, and you may find many great rewards! Meditations are also available to promote calm and to re-centre yourself whenever you need them. One is intended for you to take a quick mindfulness break in the course (or your day), to help you remain focused on what is coming. You may use this meditation at any time. The other meditation near the end of the course is for you to use perhaps at the beginning or end of your day. If you are looking to make positive, permanent changes in your daily life, take control over your emotions but are just not sure how to get started then this is the course for you!
