Description

Overview of the course

Despite many differences, the one binding thread among us is that we all want deep satisfaction and well-being in life. To nourish the well-being plant, we need to water the roots. Three significant roots of the plant of well-being that we are focusing on in this course are resilience, curiosity, and emotional intelligence.

Module 1 – Build resilience to boost well-being

In life, we want apples, but often get oranges. We have no choice but to embrace them and stay resilient.

Clarity compliments comprehension. Understanding the contemporary meaning of resilience is the 1st step forward to becoming more resilient in life.

Optimism is the engine of resilience. How to be more optimistic to support resilience?

As thinking traps obstruct our mental agility, our aptness to reframe our thoughts keeps us mentally agile which leads to well-being.

Module 2 – Curiosity to have more engagement in life

The urge to explore and seek novelty helps us to remain vigilant and gain knowledge about our constantly changing environment. Curiosity is the engine of growth that makes our minds active and observant of new ideas.

Curiosity is associated with higher levels of positive emotions, lower anxiety levels, and more satisfaction in life that creates zest and passion. This leads to psychological well-being. This module will let you know your curiosity type and the ways to foster it.

Module 3 - Relationship -the missing link in the puzzle of well-being

The most neglected, yet important pillar in one’s well-being is “How to build a positive relationship and why is it necessary?”

This module will let you know why having a positive relationship helps us live longer and happier lives. It will assist you to define new ways of developing and maintaining strong positive connections by developing effective communication.
