Attend the webinar on 9 December, 2025, part one, to explore rehydrate, regenerate, and earn concepts in this series.
Healthy soils are the foundation of productive farming — and they are also one of agriculture's most powerful tools for tackling climate change. Yet soil carbon is easily lost through poor land management, and the science of rebuilding it can feel out of reach for busy farmers and advisors.
This course changes that. Bringing together two expert-led sessions, it offers a clear, practical pathway from understanding your soil to generating verified income from it.
You'll learn directly from Alexandre Cottin, whose on-farm training explores the biological foundations of soil carbon — how organic matter forms, how carbon is stored and lost, and how everyday farming decisions shape long-term soil health. Bernhard Aumann of TGO AG and Humusguru GmbH then introduces the full carbon farming toolkit for mineral soils, from humus-building and agroforestry to biochar production, illustrated through his real-world Art Land project in Germany.
Through practical examples and clear explanations, this course will guide you through:
How soil carbon is measured and verified
The tools available to mineral soil farmers across Europe
How the EU Carbon Removal Certification Framework (CRCF) works
How farmers can earn from carbon credits today
