Welcome back! In the first module "Courageous Conversations" we covered quite a lot of ground. We discovered a key conversational tool called the Courageous Conversation that helps us gain clarity through 10 questions.
In this module, we will be exploring how to Communicate to Connect through developing the skill of relatability. We get an opportunity to learn as Chris deepens his coaching conversation with our three friends from the previous module; Sharon, Marco and Liz.
Here we will discover 8 Real8ability Factors that enable us to communicate our thoughts and feelings and also give the other person an opportunity to share in an emotionally safe space. This module has its own journal so do remember to download it as part of your learning journey.

Take a moment before jumping into the learning proper to set some learning goals for yourself:
1. Which area of my life do I want to be relatable in (eg: at work with colleagues/subordinates/bosses, at home with spouse/children/parents/new friends)?

4 Ways Courage Shows Up
The first two ways have been covered in the previous module to help you learn about your reality. The second two ways are covered in the this module and help you become relatable to others.

While the coaching conversations are between couples, these principles of relatability are also applicable in the workplace and Chris shares in the lectures how they can be applied in practical ways.

This second module has focused on the foundational level of relationships which is learning how to be relatable; relating to yourself , to others and to our future. People respond to us according to what they think we are thinking and feeling about them. If we are interpreting the facts accurately, then the quality of our relationships improve.
Don't worry if you've not been able to complete all of the Eight Real8Ability Factors at this time. It often takes time to become comfortable with new discoveries about ourselves. For instance you may have come to the realisation that people would benefit from you appreciating them more and you're working on that one factor. Well, that's a wonderful place to be! Just by looking for way to appreciate others more will already put you 10 paces ahead of your communications to connect.
Look for ways to stay on track as you review your learning and look for that special someone that you will communicate with to connect.
