Whether you have Project Manager in your title or not, anyone who has to plan and deliver on something is a project manager! For example, you might be planning an event, a marketing campaign or an information technology deliverable. Heck, most of us plan our vacations - that's a project!
This course focuses on our favorite tool for all types of projects - the Project Charter - a simple, one-page repository of key project information. It's a great tool for project leaders to get their heads wrapped around the project and communicate key facts to others. We will also share some key project management concepts that are useful for anyone leading a project.
What makes us special as instructors? First, we're lifelong project managers with more years of experience between us than we care to count. We've lived through creating charters for all kinds of projects and we can help you get yours kicked off too. Second, we love to be interactive! We do this by making use of assignments so that we can give you feedback. And third, we use lots of examples as we go along including bonus time answering questions we often get in our live workshops.

Because my professional experience and passion is in project and process management, I've spent over 25 years delivering software and developing leaders. The methodologies and tools I've used have varied, but striking the right balance of process rigor and execution agility has always been a focus of my work. Equally important to me is the people side of the equation, where I coach high-performing individuals to reach their potential.
