Requirements

  • There are no prior requirements to sit the class, however PMI has strict eligibility requirements in order for candidates to sit the PMP® or CAPM® exam as follows:
  • PMP® - if you have a bachelors degree then you need to show 36 months of project lead or management experience. Without a bachelors the requirement increases 60 months. All work experience must be within the last 8 years. Additionally you need to show 35 hours of project related education (these videos will give you the full 35 hours).
  • CAPM® - you need to have at least graduated from high school, and need to have at least 1500 hours of work experience as a team member OR 23 hours of project management education.
