Learn the ground up core out methodology of zero point training systems and keyhole Harpo. Explore developmental stages from lying down to standing, testing distancing, isolate coordinate integrate escalate.
Explore onikudaki from the ground up, detailing six grappling techniques taught through body structure, starting with the shoulder technique, then the elbow and wrist.
Showcases the essential Gadhafi shoulder crank from the back of the hand, looping and locking the arm, then introduces the fundamental drill to perform on a Gadhafi.
Learn the first maneuverability motion from a prone position: lift the torso onto the forearm and pivot to face a new direction. This foundation builds space awareness against gravity.
Introduces the stage one lie in position in Oni Kudaki, Bujinkan Kihon Happo series vol.1.
Explore the lying-down stage of Oni Kudaki, establish the primary distance, and test transitions by controlling hips, shoulders, and armpits to develop standing Kajaki from the ground.
Advance to stage two of the developmental stages in Oni Kudaki, highlighting the sitting aspect as part of the Bujinkan kihon happo series vol.1.
Learn oni kudaki sitting variations, with external hip rotation and abs engagement, to measure distance, trap the arm, and execute takedowns using zero point control.
Move up to stage three kneeling, stay connected with ground as you raise, for freedom of movement, accept less stability, and practice precision on ground to carry into stages.
Learn kneeling kajaki stage three: control and guard an opponent with a wrapped hold, balance attack and defense, and protect partner and opponent through measured, non-harmful restraint.
Develop basic stage 4 squat technique by keeping the spine erect, loading the tissues without weight bearing, rotating slightly, and descending from the balls of the feet to the heel.
Master the Oni Kudaki squatting technique from a precise starting distance, using a two-step approach to bring the foot to the hip, sit on the knee, and switch legs.
Advance into stage five standing and apply the developmental stages in practice when you conduct it.
Demonstrates standing oni kudaki from the bujinkan kihon happo series vol.1, showing how to use the shoulder as a focal point to control and dislocate the opponent.
Progress from the closest to the furthest distances, starting with a punch and advancing to kicks and weapon drills with knife, club, sword, staff, rope, bow, and Argonaut.
Learn to measure maximum punch range to stay just outside the opponent's punch, then counter from outside and inside with steps to trap the arm, balance, and hip control.
Learn to execute a one-two jab-cross combination with proper distancing, using a left jab followed by a fast right cross to extend distance and shape the body for a counterattack.
Close the distance with a single step, then deliver a kick from both legs within range. Practice kicks, including roundhouse, while moving out of the way and back into space.
The instructor explains knives and the straight thrust, guiding beginners to maintain a safe distance to avoid being cut while practicing.
Demonstrates oni kudaki knife range by establishing distance, elbow control point, and shoulder corridor, then controlling the non knife arm to counter and maintain guard.
Train with a shorter three-foot staff to practice diagonal, sideways, and straight attacks, and learn how to close distance quickly to bring your hand inside the opponent's space.
Explore Oni Kudaki club range by mastering weapon and non-weapon arm control, using the body to pin, counter, and test positions, with BPP and Zero Point methodology.
Welcome to the Zeropoint Training Systems Kihon Happo series, from the "Ground Up, Core Out ™.
In this series we will use the foundational techniques found in the Bujinkan Martial Arts.
However, instead of trying to learn one perfect technique,
we will explore the principles underlying these techniques and develop the skills
necessary for application against resisting opponents, in a natural learning progression.
All humans learned to maneuver in the world starting from the ground,
and working our way up, then expanding our awareness from our core (center) outwards.
We call this the Ground Up, Core Out™ learning system.
