Within this Myofascial Release Yoga Course, Pamela shows you how regular Self-Massage or Self-Myofascial Release (SMFR) can help transform your life from one of chronic tension and tightness in the body to one of greater freedom and ease.
You will learn the importance of maintaining healthy fascia, the main connective tissue in the body.
You'll discover different techniques using specific props and equipment to apply to different areas of the body. And you'll be able to implement these effective techniques into your daily routine or yoga practice.
Each section is arranged anatomically so you can easily choose which practice to suit your needs.
We’ll begin with the neck, where so many of us hold tightness and tension. Then we’ll address the shoulders and upper back. Next we’ll move to the mid and lower back to release tension there.
Then in the lower body section, we’ll get into the legs, and hips, an area where a lot of tightness, tension and even trauma can reside.
Releasing tension and tightness in the body can be emotional at times. We hold a lot of stress and emotions in the body and through this powerful practice, you may experience emotions and even tears as long held stress is loosened and let go. This is common although it may not happen for everyone.
Variations are offered so you can choose what works best for you on any given day.
It’s time to start feeling better!
