Ever since I started school, math has always captured my interest. As a young student, the thing I disliked most was studying for exams—especially when it involved a lot of memorization. It took so much time! But studying math was different. Once I understood how a process worked, that was it—I was done. I loved that, and it's the approach I now share with my students.
My love for math grew even stronger in college, where I earned a degree in Statistics. Around that time, I also began tutoring students of various ages. What started as a part-time job soon opened my eyes to the challenges many learners face in math. Motivated to help, I began finding simpler and more effective ways to explain complex concepts.
To further improve my teaching, I pursued a degree in education with a concentration in Mathematics. I now have classroom teaching experience and over 15 years of tutoring students from 3rd grade to university level—both on campus and online.
