Description

Do you struggle with the Subjunctive in Spanish?

Understanding the difference between a mood and the indicative tense?

How to conjugate, the how and why of usage?

This upper level series of classes are specifically designed for intermediate and advanced students of Spanish language and culture, offers you the chance to master this advanced grammatical structure, THE SUBJUNCTIVE MOOD.  You will gain confidence in conversational speaking, improve reading, writing and listening skills in Spanish. You already know that NOT knowing the subjunctive, or not knowing how to use it properly, condemns students to the intermediate low level of understanding and performance of the Spanish language.

Class 1 is the first of the series of the Mastering the Subjunctive Mood in Spanish Course.

In this course you will build the foundation for Mastering the Subjunctive Mood in Spanish focusing on impersonal expressions and regular verbs.

Ms. Diana Di Tolla skillfully breaks down the subjunctive into its most simplistic in order for students to understand. The first phase of Class 1 is conjugation. Then, moving to Impersonal Expressions, a group of verbs that, in their simplicity, facilitate using this mood accurately following her straightforward formula. Each lesson thoughtfully lays out a foundation that includes conjugating, creating simple sentences, and, always, building upon previous learning. Class 1 concludes with using the subjunctive mood in all the modalities: reading / writing / listening / speaking, which gives youa STRONG foundation in this grammatical concept.

These series of classes are highly interactive and your involvement is key to the mastering process.

Take this series to facilitate your understanding, learn the steps to proficiency and practice speaking at an advance level in the Spanish language. Understanding this grammatical concept and the ability to use the subjunctive mood accurately, propels students into intermediate high and advanced levels of performance. This is the difference between a HIGH or a LOW score on the Advanced Placement Spanish Exam, DELE, or other end of year or placement exam offered each Spring.
