Description

You can be healthy, and have a peaceful and joyful relationship with food - without dieting

Perhaps you have heard of intuitive eating before? Perhaps you have even attempted to do it, but just ended up feeling out of control around food, which pushed your right back to dieting. This course will teach you how to make the principles of intuitive eating work for your unique life. This course guides you every step of the way.

If you are usually on a diet, counting calories, tracking macros, cutting carbohydrates or restricting food in any way then there is a process to becoming re-nourished both physically and mentally, and to breaking out of the old dieting mindset. When you see food as good or bad, allowed or not allowed, it is challenging not to over eat or even binge eat when you take one or two bites of food that is "off plan". It becomes an all or nothing experience psychologically.

After re-nourishing your body and making peace with food, you will learn how to implement the other intuitive eating principles as well as explore how to navigate many of the common challenges new intuitive eaters face.

This course also commits several lessons to exploring body image, self care and self esteem. If you want to understand how to have a peaceful, diet-free relationship with food then it is important to address how you see your body and how you treat your body. We begin with building body kindness and respect which are foundational even in the face of poor body image. This course helps you to begin to change how you view your body to create a more neutral and where possible loving relationship with yourself.

Intuitive eating has been linked with eating a wide variety of different foods, reduced disordered eating behaviours such as binge eating, improved self-esteem, lower anxiety levels and lower inflammation. This course is backed up with contemporary research with links to view these for free where possible, so you can dive deeper into the evidence if this interests you.

Please watch our course introductory video (available on this page) as this will go into more detail about the impacts of dieting and how intuitive eating can help.

This course comes with the FREE eBook: Healing Emotional Eating, available to download in lesson one.
