Learn English With The Bible

This course is for you if you are interested in improving their English language and you also are interested in the Bible in the following ways:

- you understand the Bible in your own language, but you would like to learn it in English

- you are interested in learning more about the person and teachings of Jesus, but you would like to learn it at the same time as learning English

- you already know a lot about the Bible in English, but you would like to hear a native English speaker reading it and explaining what it means, both in terms of language and meaning

Each lesson provides the following:

- explanation of a major grammar point from the English language

- examples of this grammar point from the words of the Bible

- exercises to practice using this grammar point, or to confirm your knowledge of this grammar point

- a short talk from the teacher on what the story means, and how we should respond

All scriptures are taken from the book of mark in the New Testament, and they all tell us something about who Jesus is, why he lived, and what he wants us to do.
