My course is designed as a private lesson. We first embark on the four individual key hand stokes in depth such as:
Open Tone
Slap Tone
Heel and Toe (Manoteo) Technique
Now, just think, once you understand those four basic hand techniques, you will know how to play several conga rhythms such as; Marcha, Chachachá, Tumbao, Basic Samba Rhythm, and the “Funky” all around type of groove. That is pretty-cool! Right?
This course is constructed for beginners of all ages, for people who already play drums, or percussion, who want to understand how to produce a good sound on conga drums. In the end, it is all about learning, having fun and keeping music and rhythm in your life to enjoy.
