In this introduction video I will explain what will be covered in this course.
In this lecture I will describe how to perform the Back Fist.
This lecture contains information on how to perform the Knife Hand strike.
In this lecture you will learn how to perform the Spear Hand strike.
This is part one of a 2 part lecture where you will learn working details of various elbow strikes such as cross body, upward (rising) , rear and rear rising elbow strikes.
This lecture is the 2nd part of the various elbow strikes such as cross body, upward (rising) , rear and rear rising elbow strikes.
In this section you will use a drill form to help in your practice of elbow strikes with movement.
The kicks you will learn in this section called the Crescent or Half Moon kicks are unique in that they are not delivered in a straight line such as a side kick or front kick but they form an arch from outside to in or inside to outside giving you another option on hitting your targets.
The Crossover Side Kick is another kick which utilizes maximum power while giving you a way to close the striking distance.
These Shuffle style kicks are similar to the crossover kicks in that they allow you to deliver maximum power and a faster way of closing the striking distance.
This lecture presents you with set of movements or "form" to assist you in practicing your basic blocks while moving in different directions.
This lecture we explore a simple method of defending against a left hand jab and a right roundhouse kick coming from the rear leg.
This technique addresses a situation where your attacker assaults you using a left wide hook (wild punch) and right wild punch.
Similar to the double circular wild punches, this technique gives you an option to defend against your opponent attacking you with a jab and a wild hook punch.
This technique will give you a defense option if your attacker grabs you with one hand for the sole purpose of striking you with a "sucker" punch with his other hand.

Our methods and solutions are not the only available ones but are simplified for instructional purposes. Today more and more people are realizing the importance of having some basic self-defense skills in a world that seems to be getting less tolerant and more violent. There are no absolutes when it comes to dynamic situations like combat and we realize and understand that there are alternative methods and techniques which can be used in similar situations. Keep in mind that these techniques should only be used as a guide to understanding situations and the potential solutions for these types of attacks.
Remember that it’s not the quantity of techniques you acquire but the mastery and control you have over their applications.
“I fear not the man who has practiced 10,000 kicks once, but I fear the man who has practiced one kick 10,000 times.” -Bruce Lee
