Description

If you are a foreign national and wanted to become a real estate investor in the U.S,  buy properties, flip properties or simply build your real estate portfolio, while being successful in doing so; Then this course is for you. In this course you will learn how to successfully invest in real estate as a foreign national investor.  You will learn all the steps to incorporating your real estate investment business as well understanding what lenders will lend to foreign nationals. In addition this course will review the federal FIRPTA regulation and the tax requirements that buyers and sellers are required to comply with when purchasing or selling a property from or to a foreign person. You will also learn how REITS and FIRPTA goes hand and hand when it comes to investing in real estate in the U.S. REITs were initially introduced, in part, to allow taxpayers of more modest means to invest in real estate. Also this course will briefly cover  you the PATH act and how it works in conjunction with FIRPTA, so you will better understand how to protect yourself as a Foreign National real estate investor, in regards to tax withholding's and the IRS.
