Learn How to Build Russian Sentences

By the end of this lecture you will be able to build your own basic sentences using possessive pronouns and nouns. You will also learn the way possessive pronouns agree with the nouns they are used with. 

In this lecture  you will make  the sentences you built in the previous one longer by using adjectives before nouns. You will also learn how adjectives change depending on the nouns they describe.

In lecture 4 you will make your previous sentences even longer by adding one more word before adjectives. This word is "очень" which means "very". You will also know which adjectives should not be used with this adverb and why.

Another type of simple sentences is using a personal pronoun with a noun. At the end of the lecture, you will know all personal pronouns and build your own sentences, as many as you want.

We use adjectives with nouns in order to describe them. You can always enlarge your sentences by using adjectives before nouns. At the end of this lecture you will do it with confidence.

Let`s make our previous sentence even longer by using the adverb "очень" before adjectives. 

One of the simplest ways of making Russian sentences is "A noun + an adjective. " At the end of the lecture you will be able to make numerous sentences by playing only with nouns and adjectives and see what fun it is. Along with it you will repeat the way adjectives agree with nouns.

In this lecture we take the sentences in the previous lecture "A noun + an adjective" and make them longer by adding possessive pronouns before the nouns. Once more you will see the way possessive pronouns agree with nouns.

In lecture 11 you will study the object pronouns, the way adverbs are made of adjectives and what kind of sentences we get when we simply use an object pronoun with an adverb.

We can use the adverb 'очень' not just before adjectives, but also before other adverbs.  In this lecture you will make your previous sentences "An object pronoun + an adverb." longer by putting the adverb "очень" before other adverbs.

In this lecture you will learn how to say who somebody or  what something is by using the short word "Это". You will also repeat the way possessive pronouns and adjectives agree with nouns.

Their is such a conjunction in Russian as "a" which means "but". In lecture 14 you will see in which situations you can use it.

In order to join words or sentences the conjunction "и" is used. In this lecture you will join your words and ideas using this widely used conjunction.

At the end of the lecture you will know what the conjunction "kak" means and what to use it for. Now you can make a lot of different sentences by using the conjunctions. You can easily join, contradict and compare your ideas.

Their is such an expression like "Не просто ..., а очень ..." which means "... not just ... very ..." In lecture 18 you will practice this expression and use it in your speech to make adjectives much stronger.

In this lecture you will see how easy it is to ask questions that require the answers "Yes" or "No" in Russian and do it with confidence. 

In lecture 20 you will study the other way of making interrogative sentences in Russian which require not the answers "Yes" or "No", but some more information. This type of questions is a little bit more difficult than the previous one, but at the end of this lecture you will be able to make it easily.

In lecture 21 you will learn how to make exclamatory sentences in Russian in order to express strong feelnings and sudden emotions by making  an exclamation.

Their is such a conjunction in Russian as "или" which means "or". In lecture 22 you will see in which situations you can use it and be able to give alternatives in your speech.

After this lecture you will know how you can make your sentences negative. Now you are able to not just state, ask but also negate.

We can not only negate but also make our negation much stronger with the help of the small expression "совсем не" which means "at all". You will practice doing it in this lecture.
