Place your index finger on the 5th fret of the A string.
Place your ring finger on the 7th fret of the D string.
Only strum these two strings for a clean power chord sound.
This shape can be moved up and down the fretboard to play different chords.

Example Progression:
Play a power chord on the 5th fret (A string) and move it up two frets.
Strum with downstrokes, keeping a steady rhythm.
