Instructor
Born and raised in Singapore, I developed a profound passion for visual storytelling from an early age. My creative journey began at thirteen when my first comic strip was published in a local newspaper—a milestone that launched me into increasingly ambitious comic projects. This early success eventually led to my first professional role creating an original story-based comic series entirely on my own.
My artistic evolution continued when I discovered sprite animation, but it was my introduction to 3D computer animation and film studies that truly transformed my creative trajectory. This revelation sparked a decade-long dedication to mastering virtually every 3D software available during that era, honing my technical skills alongside my storytelling abilities.
To further refine my craft and theoretical understanding, I pursued higher education at Bournemouth University in the United Kingdom, where I earned my Master's Degree. This formal training complemented my extensive practical experience, providing me with both the technical expertise and conceptual framework to bring compelling visual narratives to life.
Throughout this journey, I've remained committed to the intersection of technology and storytelling, continuously adapting to new tools while maintaining my foundational passion for creating engaging visual stories.
I am currently entering my 21st years of teaching Still-life Drawing, Storyboarding, Visual Story Creation & Storytelling, Game Narrative for Micro-Drama.
Through my years of dedicated research, learning, practice, and teaching, I've come to a profound realization: stories in all their forms do more than simply captivate us. They possess the remarkable ability to enlighten and transform us through their powerful messages, equipping us with insights and wisdom that empower us to live more meaningful, fulfilled lives. These narratives serve as both mirrors reflecting our humanity and guideposts directing us toward our better selves, demonstrating that storytelling is not merely entertainment but a fundamental tool for personal growth and understanding.
