  • Procurement Principles - The Language of Public Procurement4:56

In this module, we introduce the core principles that shape how governments buy , including transparency, equal treatment, proportionality, and value for money.

These aren’t just buzzwords , they influence every decision in public procurement, from how tenders are advertised to how bids are evaluated. You’ll learn what each principle means in practice, and how they help create a fair and competitive environment for suppliers.

  • What Governments and Public Sectors Buy and Procurement Codes4:09

Public authorities, from local councils to national governments, are enormous consumers. They constantly outsource for goods, services, and works projects to deliver essential public services and maintain infrastructure. Understanding these three core categories is fundamental to knowing what they buy.

We also cover CPV codes and international equivalents.  I've attached a list of CPV codes in the resource section but note that these are subject to change.

  • Procurement Cycle - Part 16:57
  • Procurement Cycle Part 26:44

We conclude the procurement cycle by reviewing the evaluation and award stages. This is where your work as a supplier officially begins. Some contracts also include performance reviews and feedback, helping you improve for next time.
