German Cockroaches hide in many areas and love to frequent water sources. In this video I explain the importance of cleaning trash cans, counter tops, inside cabinets and drawers, and also the importance of inspecting a coffee pot. Be sure to remove any belongings from inside cabinets and on top of counter tops prior to treatment. Also be sure to empty any trash cans before treating as well.

A lot of newer model of coffee pot have “pod” type coffee holders. These units often have water reservoirs that attract German cockroaches. Many homes I have treated with these types of coffee makers are infested with roaches of all ages. In this video I show a NESPRESSO brand coffee maker but roaches are also attracted to all brands of coffee pod machines.

The recommended mixing ratio for Alpine WSG is typically 10 - 30 grams per gallon of water, but always refer to the product label for specific instructions. Once the correct amount of Alpine WSG has been measured, add it to the sprayer tank filled with the appropriate volume of water. Use lukewarm water to help dissolve the granules more effectively. Be sure to use a gel bait specifically formulated for roaches, as other types of bait may not be as effective. Additionally, avoid applying bait in areas where it may come into contact with food or food preparation surfaces.

Monitor the bait regularly and replenish it as needed until the roach infestation is eliminated. It may take several days or even weeks to see a significant reduction in roach activity, as the bait works by being ingested and shared among the roach population. During this time, continue to keep the kitchen clean and free of food debris to reduce the attractiveness of the environment to roaches.

Reapply the Alpine WSG solution as needed to maintain control of pest populations and prevent re-infestation.

By combining indoor and outdoor treatments with Alpine WSG, you can effectively treat a house for general pests and German cockroaches, providing long-lasting protection for you and your family.
