Note: This course contains the use of artificial intelligence:
- Udemy Role-Play AI feature to make the course more practical and interactive;
- AI-generated Voice-Over since some students complained about my heavy accent;
- AI-generated images (mostly thumbnail and Role Play solutions) to illustrate business cases;
Mission: To help you build capabilities through interactive learning: Stop guessing. Start diagnosing. A gamified strategy simulation where you interrogate real business problems — and an AI character pushes back on every assumption you make.
Course Description:
Nowadays, when you face a difficult business problem, you can ask AI for the answer in seconds.
But there's something you still have to bring yourself: strategic judgment (critical thinking). The ability to look at a messy situation, ask the right questions, separate symptoms from causes — and figure out what's actually going on before you propose a fix.
That's not a framework you memorize. It's a skill you build through reps.
This is not a course. It's a workout.
Think of it as a gym for your strategic mind. Six stations, each one training a different diagnostic muscle — growth problems, profitability problems, competitive threats, business model weaknesses, organizational dysfunction, and a final Championship Round where nobody tells you what kind of problem you're even looking at.
Thirty business mysteries. Thirty companies with something quietly wrong. Thirty conversations with an AI character playing a real stakeholder — a skeptical CFO, a frustrated CEO, an interim leader out of patience for another guess.
Your job: ask the right questions, test what's actually true, and find the diagnosis before you reach for a solution.
How it works
Every case follows the same ritual. You get the Plot — a short, mystery-style setup with no spoilers. You pause. You open the Role Play and investigate it yourself, live, against an AI that won't hand you the answer. Only afterward do you see the debrief.
You're not alone if you want support:
- Thinking Blueprints — a visual diagnostic framework for each station, showing you where to look, not what to conclude.
- Case Visuals — a full breakdown of the evidence and reasoning, once you've made your own attempt.
- Printouts — the complete diagnostic write-up, for anyone who wants to study the mechanics in depth.
Use them as training wheels. Or go in completely cold. Both are the right way to do this Workout — the choice is yours.
Who this is for
- Aspiring strategy consultants preparing for case interviews or the realities of client work
- Founders and operators who want sharper instincts before the next messy decision lands on their desk
- MBA students and business analysts who want to practice diagnosis, not just frameworks
- Anyone who's ever sat in a room full of confident wrong answers and wished they knew how to test them
What you'll walk away with
Not thirty memorized answers. A rebuilt instinct — the one that says don't guess, structure it, segment it, test it — the next time a real, messy problem lands in front of you, with no case study written for it yet.
Requirements
No spreadsheets. No financial modeling. No prior consulting experience required. Just a willingness to ask questions before you answer them.
