Description
This course is for women of all ages and stages of life to learn about how their hormones play a pivotal role in their daily, monthly, and yearly lives in regards to weight management, anti-aging, stress, and much more. In the past, all of the science was focused on men in relation to exercise and optimal health and fitness. Now, thankfully there are new studies that focus on women's unique hormonal fluctuations and how they impact everything from weight loss to healthy aging. Topics go from a general understanding of the specific hormones a woman's body makes, to the unique hormone profiles that you will fit in to and be able to relate to and learn about. Participants gain in-depth knowledge and action items to take to achieve optimal health. The topics are broken down into easy-to-understand video tutorials that can be rewatched at the viewer's leisure. The instructor is available for continued help on her Facebook Group titled "Hormone Health Support Group" which each participant will be invited to for more education and tips. Learn all about how balancing your hormones are in direct relation to your struggles to lose weight, manage stress, and reduce the risk of disease. Instructor
Lana White holds a B.S. in Exercise Science and Wellness from Jacksonville State University (class of 99) and a minor in Gerontology. She obtained her certification as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) in 2007 and worked for 10 years as a Strength Coach for athletes of all levels. She has previously worked for NASA as the Wellness Lead at Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, AL. She also worked as a Corporate Wellness Manager for Intergraph Corporation. Lana was certified as a Lifestyle Behavior Coach through a program called LEARN (Lifestyle, Exercise, Attitude, Relationships, Nutrition) and taught classes for five years. After having a family, she decided to work for herself and opened an Anytime Fitness Franchise that she operated successfully for five years, and now she trains selective clients from her home. A few months ago, she completed a certification in Female Hormones and Metabolism which reignited her passion for helping women who are struggling with hormone imbalances and weight loss struggles. Lana is a wife and a mother to two young sons (13 and 12) and loves being able to work from home and help her clients achieve their health and wellness goals.
