Lesson 1 idioms includes get on/get in, get out of/get off, put on, take off, turn on, turn off, right away, pick up, sooner of later, get up, come up with and at first.
Lesson 2 idioms includes dress up, at last, as usual, find out, look at, look for, all right, all along, little by little/step by step, tire out/wear out, spend time, and never mind.
Lesson 3 idioms includes pick out, take one's time' talk over, lie down, stand up, sit down/take a seat/have a seat/ all (day, week, month, year) long, by oneself, on purpose, get along (with), make a difference (to), and take out/go out with.
Lesson 4 idioms includes take part in/be in on, at all/in the least, look up, wait on, at least, so far/up to now/as of yet, take a walk/hike, take a trip, try on, think over, take place, and put away.
Lesson 5 idioms includes look out/watch out, shake hands, get back, catch cold, get over, make up one's mind, change one's mind, for the time being/for now, for good, call off, put off, and in a hurry/in a rush.
Lesson 6 idioms includes hang out, hang up, count on, make friends, out of order, get to, look over/go over/read over/check over, have time off/take time off, go on/keep on, put out, all of a sudden/all at once, and ahead of time.

Lesson 7 idioms includes point out, be up, be over/be through, on time, in time to, get better/worse, get sick/well/tired/busy/wet, had better, would rather/would just as soon, call it a day/night, figure out, and think of.
Lesson 8 idioms incudes be about to, turn around, take turns, pay attention (to), brush up on, over and over (again)/time after time/ time and again, wear out, throw away, fall in love, go out (with), go out/step out, and break up (with).
Lesson 9 idioms includes wake up, be in charge of, as soon as, have a good time, in no time, cut down on/cut back on, crack down on, quite a few, used to, be used to, get used to, and back and forth.
Lesson 10 idioms includes make sure/make certain, now and then/from time to time/once in a while, get rid of, every other (one), go with/go together, first-rate, come from, make good time, mix up, see about/attend to/see to, make an impression/leave an impression, and by heart.
This course, Idioms Usage, Pronunciation and Intonation, will teach you to hear, understand, and use English phrasal verbs, idioms, and collocations. It will also help improve your intonation and pronunciation through a practice called "shadowing".
This is a complete course, approximately the equivalent of what you would learn in a college-level speaking and listening class over the course of a semester (10-15 weeks). We will complete 13 lessons, each covering about a dozen expressions taken from the textbook Essential Idioms in English: Phrasal Verbs and Collocations (fifth edition) by Robert J. Dixson (ISBN 0-13-141176-4). While the textbook is not required, it is highly recommended. Each lesson includes:
