Welcome to the course!
Contrary to what society tells you, you don't need to diet and cut out carbs (because fruits and vegetables are carbs - they turn into glycogen in your body, which is the definition of a carb, or carbohydrate). You don't need to eat only meat or a ton of meat as some diets tell you to do. Your best health will come when you eat like an herbivore.
Animals love food. Plants love sunlight. Loving food is normal and natural in the wild and for you. Sugar cravings (and all cravings) are simply your body's way of telling you it wants a certain nutrient. Sugar cravings mean your body wants sugar in the form of fruit (or sweet vegetables). Embrace your cravings and love for food and you will never feel guilty again.
A lot of people (especially women) see food as the enemy. When you learn that eating more often leads to being thin, it can free you psychologically.
If you do nothing else to keep weight off, drink at least a 1/2 gallon of water a day. Water keeps weight off like nothing else. You are literally drinking oxygen (H2O) and giving life to your body when you drink plain water.
You want to try to get each food group in your day every day. Feeling satiated and enjoying variety will be the result.
Society teaches all kinds of things when it comes to weight loss and long-lasting health. Dieting is not the right way. Avoiding carbs is not the right way. Intermittent fasting is not the right way. Society at large doesn't really know how the body works. What you want to copy is nature's way, and that is what I aim to show you in my courses.
In this course, "Eat According to How Your Body is Naturally Designed," I teach the basic foundation of healthy eating. Your body was made a certain way, and the habits around HOW you eat is as important as WHAT you eat. Behaviorally speaking, it can be even more important. By simply changing around a few lifestyle habits, much of the weight you're desiring to lose will come off by itself. Learn in this course: that it is normal to love food, how often to eat, how your body is naturally designed, why water keeps you thin, and the correct food pyramid. I also talk about how to increase your white blood cell count, why the scale doesn't matter, and how to be able to indulge in foods you love that aren't healthy.
For this course, all you need is an open mind and a willingness to work and implement the suggestions, even if you don't believe that you'll get results. As if often said with coaching, the method won't work unless you do, and results WILL come after specific habits have been adopted. It's hard to believe until it happens, and remember that it will take some time. So give yourself patience and grace. Dust yourself off if you feel you mess up, and get back on the wagon and try again. Every human body is designed the same way with the same bodily functions. It's just a matter of whether or not your habits are going with or against your body's natural design.
