Your radio and receiver should come "binded" from factory. If your transmitter is not talking to your receiver yet or if you need to bind a secont receiver to your radio, follow the instructions on page 7 from the radio manual to learn how to "bind" the receiver to the radio transmitter.
Follow the connection schema printed on the receiver to plug the batteries in the correct way.

Now we will understand the engines thread differences and learn to choose the engine spinning direction.

In this section I will show you how to assemble a complete quadcopter arm with the engine and ESC connected.
You will test the spinning direction of the engine and make sure that it is spinning in the right direction.
We will use the radio, receiver and batteries to test the engine spin.
I will show you one build, but you have to do it two times. We need two arms with this configuration for the quadcopter.

You will test the spinning direction of the engine and make sure that it is spinning in the right direction.
We will use the radio, receiver and batteries to test the engine spin.

Lets start to assemble the frame structure.
Assembling the arms.
In this section we will start to build the power cable of all electronics on the quadcopter to the battery.
This cable needs two wires: Positive (red) and Negative (black).
This first part will show you how to build the positive (red) wire.
In this section we will continue to build the power cable of all electronics on the quadcopter to the battery.
This second part will show you how to build the negative (black) wire.
Now you will connect the battery connector (XT60) and finish the wires connections.
Let´s close the bottom of the frame and keep the wires protected.
Installing the flight controller on the frame.
Connecting the ESCs to the flight controller.
In order to take control of your drone the flight controller must know what you want it to do. The receiver is the bridge between your commands and the flight controller. Let´s connect the receiver now!
Before going thru the the flight controller setup, let's choose the switch that will work as the 5th channel on the radio. This switch will be used to turn on acro or normal mode.
Choose one of the radio switches that better fits for you.
When turned off (0) the normal flight mode will be selected.
When turned on (1) the acro (acrobatic) mode will be selected.
In normal flight mode the quadcopter will self-level automatically when you release the roll or pitch controls.
It's much easier to fly.
In acro mode the quadcopter will not level itself automatically and you should level the quadcopter.
It's harder to fly especially if you never did it before.

This is not a flight yet. Let´s see if everything is working fine and if the quadcopter is responding correctly.
Be careful when holding the quadcopter in your hands when doing this exercise.

I included in this video some tips on how to take off from your quadcopter that might be useful.
I know that I am not being an example in this video.
Anyway, just do as I say and don't do as I do!
Before flying around with your drone, keep in mind some security rules and common sence. There are also rules to be respected depending on the country you live.
Consider using Flight Simulators and low cost quadcopters for flying practice before put your master piece on the field. I use both, all the time!
