Introduction to Dreamweaver14:03
Dreamweaver is a WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) HTML editing tool that is powerful enough to be used by professionals, yet is still comfortable enough for amateurs who want more than what Netscape Composer has to offer. I have not used Front Page but from talking with those who have used both it and Dreamweaver, Dreamweaver is a step up. This documentation with help you create a website with three pages.

Dreamweaver Intermediate Level5:58

Dreamweaver Advanced Level4:51
The Spry Menu Bar allows you to add very user-friendly dynamic menus that allow for great organization to your website navigation. It builds a hierarchy of links to the inner pages of your site. The main section headings show up on the page all of the time, but the other links are only displayed when the user rolls the mouse over the top link.

If you want to get into Photoshop compositing, one of the first features you'll have to conquer is selections. If you've ever tried selecting people (especially people with wispy hair) from one background and placing them onto another background, you know that it can be a huge pain in the neck. But by using the Refine Edge feature and a few other tricks in Photoshop CS5, you'll start your composites out right with a good selection. After that, making them fit into another background becomes a lot easier.

This video shows you step by step how to select a person with curves and troublesome hair (that is, troublesome for us—and maybe her stylist) so perfectly that we can blend her image indefinably into a different background.

Students who view the lectures and submit an artifact per section will receive a Badge upon course completion. All you need to do is sent us an email informing us that you completed the course, send us the artifact per each respective section and will email you an official digital badge from ISMD's Training Team at LaGuardia Community College. Here are the logistics.

How do I receive a Badge again?

In order to receive a Master Badge the student must finish 12 workshops in the New Media CS5 section.

Submit the request for the digital badge as well as the artifact for each section to the following email girizarry@lagcc.cuny.edu
