This is the Ultimate Appalachian Trail Preparation Course.

The Appalachian Trail (often called the AT) is a ~2,195-mile long-distance hiking trail that stretches from Georgia to Maine, crossing 14 states in the eastern United States. Whether you plan to thru-hike the entire trail or tackle it in sections, you will face challenging terrain, changing weather, and months of physical and mental endurance.

This journey requires preparation. This course was designed by two experienced thru hikers who completed the AT in 2022. We bring practical guidance to help you get ready for the Appalachian Trail with confidence. Our goal is to inspire you and help you feel fully prepared for what could become one of the most meaningful adventures of your life.
