Successful process automation is not only a technical build. Before developers can create an RPA solution, the business must select the right process, document it clearly, define requirements, build the Process Definition Document (PDD) and manage delivery through testing and control. This practical course teaches that business and project-management side of automation from end to end.
You will learn how to assess whether a process is suitable for automation, define the opportunity and create a clear plan for delivery. The course covers current-state process mapping, stakeholder requirements, process redesign, the information developers need and the structure of a useful PDD. You will also see how business teams and technical teams work together during solution design, testing, implementation and handover.
A practical scenario connects the stages so that you can see how an automation opportunity develops into a controlled project. Templates, demonstrations and examples help you turn the method into working documents for your own organisation.
This is a non-technical course. It does not teach programming or how to build a software bot. It is designed to develop the business analysis, process and project-management skills required to choose the right opportunity and guide an automation solution successfully into operation.
By the end of the course, you will be able to structure an automation project, communicate effectively with developers and stakeholders, and create the process documentation and controls needed for a sustainable RPA solution.
