Building Diverse and Inclusive teams, and organisations, is no longer just a nice-to-have; it's now a strategic imperative. And that's because Diversity and Inclusion bring a ton load of business benefits; and this has been established by a lot of Research !
But, in order to do that, we will first need to navigate the labyrinth of Biases, that lurk deep down in our minds, masquerading as harmless preferences and judgments. They may have been tremendously useful to our ancestors a million years ago, but they can create a lot of problems today.
One important thing to note here, and probably something that most people may not realise fully, is the “unconscious”, or “subconscious” part of Bias. People do not deliberately and consciously intend to be biased ! Biases happen at a subconscious level, in your mind. And, your conscious brain is not even aware that you made a biased judgement, or decision.
In this Course, we will, together, explore how Unconscious Biases creep into our Recruitment and Hiring decisions, like stealthy ninjas, influencing who gets hired and who doesn’t. We will then go through 10 Research based Strategies, to outwit these stealthy ninjas, and create a fair, inclusive, and happy workplace.
Whether you are an Organisational Leader, HR Professional, or Hiring Manager, or just someone who is passionate about creating fair and equitable workplaces, this course will be of tremendous help to you !
