Conclusion to playing Silent Night on the ukulele.
If you’ve ever wanted to play a calm, beautiful version of ‘Silent Night’ on the ukulele, this course will guide you from your very first steps to a full performance. You don’t need any musical background - just a ukulele, a tuner and an interest in learning a peaceful, expressive piece.
We begin gently, introducing the basics: tuning your instrument, understanding how it works and becoming familiar with the supportive visual resources included throughout the course. Once you feel ready, we move into the melody in a relaxed, unhurried way.
You’ll explore three soothing versions of the carol. First, a lyrical fingerstyle melody with long, expressive notes. Second, a warm strumming version set in a gentle 3/4 feel, ideal for accompanying quiet singing. Lastly, a developed arrangement using flowing arpeggio patterns to create an intimate, almost orchestral sound.
As you move through the lessons, you’ll build several important skills: shaping long notes with control, keeping a steady pulse in 3/4 time, transitioning gracefully between chords and joining small musical sections into a complete arrangement. These skills are particularly valuable for learning other expressive pieces or carols.
The course includes diagrams, TAB, chord charts, playalong audio and optional sheet music. Everything is designed to give you a relaxed and rewarding learning experience from the first note to the last.
