In order to have more faith in this process, we step into receiving miracle and knowing that we are being guided and supported in the light of love through this journey
Please do this meditation as often as you can, doing this before other meditations would help open up your emotions and have you step into a gentler space of allowing and letting go. As much as we can feel, allow and let go...I have found that connecting to a miracle, and knowing that you are an unravelling miracle and stepping into that faith, helps the healing process feel more graceful.
Start building a real connection and relationship with your body!
Now that you learned how to get into your body, next, we'll focus on meditations
Now that you learned how to get into your body, next, we'll focus on meditations
It is so good to do the relaxing belly meditation below to build relationship with your body with all the things you learned above. You may do a combination of the relaxing belly meditation and new conscious breath meditation below in the AM, PM, before and after you eat or when necessary when you’re feeling anxious.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
You may do a combination of the relaxing belly meditation and new conscious breath meditation in the AM, PM, before and after you eat or when necessary when you’re feeling anxious.
This “breath work” has been considered the new prescription physicians give to patients in the eastern part of the world for resolving stomach disorders, supported in the latest research.
Do not underestimate the circular breath or relaxing belly meditation. It will put your body is rest/digest mode within minutes. Put your headphones on, lay back or lean back in a chair and just do it! Together, these meditations can really open your heart, awaken your emotions and start releasing tears, stress and so forth - don't stop it, keep it coming out of you. It's all the emotional stress that wants to leave you.
IT DOES NOT MATTER HOW MANY TIMES YOU READ IT, YOU MUST DO IT. WITHOUT TAKING ACTION YOU WILL NOT SEE RESULTS. Apply conscious breathing and these exercises daily. Do not say you don’t have time because we give time to what we value the most.
These lectures were all about breathing and building a relationship with your body. These lessons are worth going over and over again - the simplest and most profound lesson (the relationship) is the road to true health.
Remember it is not an over night, or even a one week thing. This is a transformation process and a way to really succeed in this busy chronically ill culture we live in. We are the change.
It'll take time but you'll get there! Just like I did. It was not easy but it is worth everything!
Now that you learned the lessons of being in your body, breathing and meditation, it's time to focus on processing and healing anxiety. Remember, all the lessons blend together in the body.
Healing your anxiety in the body is vital to healing your gut issues. Once you process anxiety more and more, you'll notice your bowels start to work better! Keep going you got this!
Please download and read Heal Anxiety to Heal Gut Book. I had tried Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, etc etc before but nothing beats transcending the feelings of anxiety and fear. This truly is the way to process anxiety out of the body. This week is extremely crucial to do after getting the basics of week 1.
I DON'T KNOW HOW IMPORTANT IT IS TO GET YOUR BODY INTO A STATE OF ALLOWING THE FEELING, NOT RESISTING THE FEELING AND SURRENDERING TO THE FEELING.
It is when our body is in resistance to the anxiety that blocks the flow of energy and creates illness.
Apply the Meditation for Anxiety as necessary (whenever you feel anxious). You may use this interchangeable with the belly relaxing meditation. The belly relaxing meditation explains how to get into your body and get relaxed but the allowing meditation for anxiety is where the real healing work begins at the nervous system brain level. The allowing meditation for anxiety is more for a continuous permanent healing process and the belly relaxing one is good to get you temporarily digesting better.
Both are good to use together for healing. For me, I focused much more on the allowing meditation or allowing approach after I got the hang of knowing how to breathe properly and be in the body.
It’s been well over a week at this point now and I know there was a lot of new teachings, and it’s not really about doing it all or doing it right. It’s just important to allow the feeling, no matter what, do not resist the feeling, especially anxiety because that is what is messing up your digestive flow.
Now that you learned the Allowing Approach with anxiety, it’s time to apply this allowing approach to all feeling, sensation and emotions that you feel.
Read through the Irritable Bowel & Leaky Gut Syndrome Allow Healing guidebook THIS IS SO IMPORTANT TO READ repeatedly. Now that we are two weeks in, we’re going to get a little deeper into the healing work.
Here you will learn:
What somatic mindfulness is
How to really allow and let go of emotion
How to heal anger
Why it is important and how to validate and express emotion
Everything you learned in the past 2 weeks are to be slowly integrated in your way of dealing with stress and emotion throughout daily life. The beginning is always the toughest, then it gets worse, before it gets better. And when you thought it’s gotten better, then it gets challenging.
It is the cycle and regulation of emotion you haven’t done yet. After several months you’ll notice you’re much more regulated and balanced in your reaction/response to daily life activities and interactions.
Throughout all of this, it’s not really about my teachings - it’s really about how you feel. It’s really about how you feel your feelings and how you feel and allow the resistance you feel to your feelings.
Previously, I showed you how to connect and get into your body. In these following sections, I show you the basics of Body Mindfulness, going deeper into developing your relationship with the body.
Please do not overlook how important these lessons are. Just to give you an idea, it took me thousands of dollars and suffering, giving up and surrendering to figure this out! Don't make that same mistake and really pay attention now to better your health and life.
In order to let go emotion, you must first allow yourself to non-resist in your body what needs to be felt.
Get some awesome headphones and add this allowing meditation below to your healing tool box whenever you need some assistance allowing and processing your emotions!
It is the anger held on within that destroys the intestinal integrity. People with leaky gut have a lot of angry stress they need to process.
It is important to understand that just because you feel anger a couple times that your stomach is magically going to revert back. We have lifetimes of anger we have held inside because our culture and society deeply shame this emotion. In the meridian system, it is the anger that affects organs the most. Anger, the guilt of feeling anger and the fear of how much we actually have.
I had processed anger many many times, rage out and felt it ripple through my body, sometimes for hours on end. Someone would trigger me and I'd stay with the feeling all day until it was gone. I'd just keep allowing it, feeling it, processing it letting it go.
When's the last time you or someone close to you ever told you it was okay to feel shame, guilt, anger and fear? No one's ever let you free into expressing your anger have they? It's time to allow yourself to allow all range of beautiful human emotion you have inside.
Please print out the Gut Feeling Journal and complete daily until you master knowing how you feel, where you feel it in your body and just feeling it to healing it.
Please read Self-Awareness and Emotional Psychology for Gut Syndromes Complete the self-awareness exercises. Whether you have IBS, candida or leaky gut, the questions are relevant and relate across the gut syndromes. Throughout my journey of learning metaphysics and emotional psychology, our humanness is similar but how we interpret our experience is what makes us unique. Therefore, this self-awareness exercise may not completely relate to you, but it may be general guidance questions to gaining some awareness to the stress causes in your life.
For example, person A and B both have gut syndromes, but person A and B feel anxious in different areas of life or react or respond differently to certain situations.
It is intellectually gratifying to know what happened but it does not matter in a sense unless you resolve it emotionally from your body. Therefore, do not spend too much time analyzing what happened or what’s happening and focus more on feeling it.
Please print off The Music: How Sound Can Heal and apply the practice as you prefer to in your life. Music is extremely healing as it speaks to the soul but it is not absolutely necessary or mandatory for healing. Breath, feeling and relationship (with food and people), however are the most important aspects of inner healing.
This is a little advanced, and I didn't even really understand how to actually get in my body and do this until a year after I started "Allowing" but this process of stretching open the body, feeling the resistance blocks inside, connecting with it and moving it out of me, was a skill I developed later when I had built such a close relationship with my body that I could feel everything.
Read G.U.T.F Framework & Implementation Guide as a supplement to the Allowing Approach.
This Guide brings your emotions to life by giving them characters. You'll understand that you are a movie production, and their are emotional characters within you. You need to let them all play a role so it can be a really good "full movie." We like movies not because they're all happy. We like them because it's alive, it moves. It's dynamic and free to be. You need to let everyone play inside you, no matter how unpleasant - they are too a part of your movie.
G.U.T.F Framework + Implementation Guide
When You Want To Feel Calm & Happy All The Time:
Please listen to this audio I made for you "when you want to feel calm and happy all the time" This kind of feeling is very common among people who are stressed, sad or feeling crappy.
The truth is, we always want to feel calm and happy. All of us do, it's not just you. It's important to know that when we notice that we want to feel calm and happy, it's usually because we feel the opposite.
So what is the road to calmness and happiness? Is it skipping there and opting into that place right away? If you are feeling the most stressed and painful inside, of course you want to feel calm and happy.
It's okay to want to feel that way and it's okay to hate the way you feel too. and it's okay to not feel okay about any of it.
The most important thing, is to notice how you are feeling, usually when we want to feel a certain way, we have a desire and then when we hate the way we feel, it's anger. As well, we may feel afraid of the way we even feel.
Notice these emotions, and go back to the previous weeks and revisit how to allow feelings and apply the allowing meditation. You'll notice that I don't share with you anything new, except it just becomes more clear and peeled back over time. It gets deeper and clearer as opposed to piling you with new information.
The Truth about healing is that it's simple. One technique and you just become a master at feeling, non resisting, digesting and letting of your emotions.
When You Feel Worried About Health:
This is a very common worry that you and many others have. So I made an audio to share with you a perspective and how to address this challenge. It's really just about connecting to the feeling of worry and to allow, not resist and surrender to the worry feelings. Keep going! You got this.
When You're Feeling Anxious and Trying Not to Bloat:
This audio really goes over the mind's resistances in the trying, fighting and anxiety. It's super important to listen to this one over and over again.
You basically got to feel the anxiety feelings underneath the trying. You need to let yourself feel the bloat. You can breathe into your heart if breathing into your bloated belly is too difficult because it's already bloated. I encourage you to listen to this audio, apply the anxiety, breathe with me or allowing meditation.
Remember it's not about trying to feel a certain way, or even trying to allow a certain feeling. It's just allowing whatever feelings and thoughts you have without resistance. And if there is resistance, to allow the feeling of resistance resisting the feeling you resist - I know eh, insane unconditional love right here.
When You Feel Alone In This Condition:
You're not the only one. Millions of people, feel alone in this condition. It's our minds that tell us we're alone, but in truth, we're suffering together. The way out, is to go within, allow the feelings and transcend the suffering. When we resist the feeling of feeling alone and lonely - we create more suffering. When we allow the feeling, we begin to reduce the resistance and there is less suffering. The human journey is not about avoiding suffering, but transcending it.
When You Feel Like Everyone Has a Better Life Than You:
You know the strangest thing, more people feel this way than you realize. Here's the truth though okay? Some people do have a "better" life than you, some people have a better life than me, and you have a better life than some others. In the human world, we're always going to compare and compete. It's just natural. But this doesn't mean to disregard the pain and suffering we feel when we feel isolated in this.
Did you hear about Kate Spade and Anthony Ordain? Heck I mean...they have a "better" life than you and I, in that sense...but do they really? You're still here, wanting to heal and get better. You love yourself enough to want to heal, you love yourself so much that you're going through this brave path. But them...they had their health, their money etc...but still they wanted to take their own lives. In the ego, there will always be better and more. But when we heal our hearts and souls, we reveal what people are most hungry for - Love.
Look at Robin Williams, he had everything, and a good life, always tried to make others happy. Yet he was the saddest person. This does not disregard or not acknowledge how you feel, but sometimes it's helpful to see these perspectives at the same time.
