In this course on AI in Recruitment and HR, you will learn how to use AI tools like ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot to support real recruitment and hiring workflows.
What we will cover:
We start with the basics, so terms like LLM, NLP, and GenAI will stop sounding abstract and start making sense. Then you will learn how to prompt effectively and get more useful results from AI tools.
From there, we move into practical examples of how ChatGPT and Copilot can support your daily work — from writing job descriptions, sourcing candidates, and creating outreach messages to screening CVs, preparing interviews, doing market research, and analysing hiring data.
We also cover important topics such as data privacy, confidentiality, responsible AI usage, and how to reduce bias in hiring processes, so you can use AI more safely and in line with company expectations. As part of the fundamentals, I also briefly introduce AI agents without going into technical implementation.

Each concept is explained through practical examples where we write prompts together, review the AI outputs, and look at how to improve the results. My goal is not just to show you what to type, but to help you understand why certain prompts work better than others and how to think about AI in a useful way.
At the end of each section, I include a prompt cheat sheet that you can download and use in your own work.
The course also includes a fun role-play based on a real recruiter–hiring manager conversation. In this exercise, you will use AI and the knowledge from the course to respond quickly to the manager’s questions and support the discussion with your own recommendations.
Although many examples in this course focus on hiring for technical roles, the same workflows and approaches can be applied to any industry or role. So no technical background or prior experience is needed to follow this course.
