In this lesson we will first get introduced to Clipping Mask which is a fun tool that allows us to place images into shapes. We will practice this via drawing a few shapes and sticking images into them.
The Frame Tool is a newer alternative to the Clipping Mask Tools. It Operates similarly to the Frame Tools in Adobe InDesign. So if you are familiar with this in Adobe InDesign, feel free to use this method instead! I will teach you both either way and it is totally up to you which ones you pick!
We will practice the Clipping Mask Tool by updating an existing Template with beautiful images.
One of the best parts of Clipping Masks is to be able to use a variety of existing Templates and update them to our preference. In this lesson we will use an existing Free Adobe Template that is embedded in the software and update all the content, the text the colours the images to our preference.
