Having taught technical writing in the graduate school programs of National Chiao Tung University and National Tsing Hua University since 1989, Ted Knoy (柯泰德) served as an Associate Researcher at Union Chemical Laboratories, Industrial Technology Research Institute (1994-2000) and as a full-time instructor in the Applied English Department at Yuan Pei University (2002-2005). Author of five books in "The Chinese Technical Writers' Series" and eight books in the "Chinese Professional Writers' Series", Ted is the English editor of several technical journals and publications in Taiwan. He is currently working on a Ph.D in Education at the University of East Anglia (U.K.).
