Mohammad Rafiqul Islam is an Associate Professor in the Dept. of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (MNS) of Statistics, BRAC University, Dhaka, Bangladesh. Dr Islam is mainly specialized in data management, cleaning, analyzing, sampling size and sampling design and machine learning and expert in R, SPSS, and familiar with SQL, Python, STATA and other programs. He has practical Worked experience as a data analyst and statistician in various projects (with project design, impact evaluation and monitoring). Dr. Islam received my PhD degree in Macroeconomic Statistics from the Moscow State University of Economics, Statistics and Informatics, December 2006 under Russian government scholarship. He also completed Post-doctoral Research Fellowship in the department of statistical sciences in Universita Degli Studi Di Padova, Italy, under the Research Fellowship of Erasmus Mundus Mobility with Asia (EMMA) funded by the European Commission. He has 25 publications in national and international referred Journals and one book (PhD dissertation).
