My name is Ashutosh. I have been teaching the Hindi language as part of a non-profit organization in Washington DC since 2007.
On numerous occasions, my students have asked me to upload my lectures online. , in order to faciliate learning. Upon their request, I have created a Youtube channel, which I update regularly. I consistently recieve requests, questions, and appreciative comments from many language enthusiasts acorss the globe.
I am motivated to upload more informative lectures in the form of vidoes so that language can become a medium to connect people from different community. Something that started as a simple desire to realize my interest in teaching, has now evolved into a nascent non-profit venture, which shows promise due to the ever-increasing interest in people from all walks of life. These include travelers to India, young professionals working for the US government and other non- profit organizations, students of Indian literature and culture, as well as the ones in love with a native speaker. Thus, with India quickly gaining global interest, more and more people are looking to to learn the Hindi language.
Udemy is democratizing education and making is available for everyone. I am glad to be a part of it. This is one of my way to give something back to the community.

I really enjoyed how Ashutosh gets active with his students on the video. It took me a couple of repeats to get what's going on, but I am finally getting the hang of things. Ashutosh, don't do computer science. Teach us HINDI!!!!!! Namaste, Ash!
